This forum was created so we could collaborate on ways to give back. We can simply work together to come up with ideas and initiatives to help others in need. I'll work with the programs we are affiliated with so we can get them what they need in order to help others.Hi everyone!
I just want to share with you a little something a friend and I did via our website (www.touchingyourheart.net ) and Facebook for our community these past few weeks. Our community has seen a lot of deaths lately, some expected, some unexpected and it just feels as if every time we turn around, another person in our community is hurting. During times like these it is perfectly normal to feel at a loss as to how to reach out…

Autism Spectrum Disorder has always been something that has been very dear to my heart. Diagnosed at age 2, my nephew Dylan, is on the severe end of the Autism Spectrum. He is now 12 years old, with an infectious laugh, but this disease has sadly silenced his voice. Dylan has never said the word Mama...or asked for something to eat, or said I love you. It is this vision that drives me with passion to help as many, to dedicate my life to changing this outcome for other families.
June…

Hi guys...
I was thinking about you the other day, when I was hosting/leading my daughter's Girls Scout Brownie Troop. For those of you who are not familiar with the Girl Scouts Organization, it is a great way for girls to get involved. The goal is to meet one time per month to complete "Try-It's" and then the girls receive patches for their vests recognizing the work they have done.
The girls were focusing on Recylcling, Reusing, and…

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that from what I could tell Shay's benefit went really well today. My daughter and I drove over to Hettinger for it and the food was delicious and there was a steady stream of people coming through the door while we were there. They had some really great silent auction items also, so I am guessing those probably went over really well.
I was able to give Sarah (Shay's mommy) a quick hug and it was obvious that Sarah is very grateful for…

I am simply moved by the North Dakota roots that stick with people! Chelsea was recently contacted by a friend from her hometown in Scranton, regarding a woman she used to be friends with, Sarah Dschaak. Asking for help, this friend asked HelpChelseaGive.com if we could help in any way . . . and of course we said "WE WOULD LOVE TO!"
Let me give you some background info on Baby Shay.
Sarah and her husband Troy welcomed a precious baby girl, Shay, into this world…

Hi guys!
Whew have things been popping around my place! Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to touch base with you in a while, but I have been thinking about you! What have you all been doing to contribute? I am looking for inspirational stories . . . and maybe even some ideas that HCG.org could get behind as a group? Maybe a fundraising event . . . lets do something big in 2010!!
